How Gerald Willis Is Scaling Mectronic by Providing Internet Solutions, B2B Part Search, And Developing Their Pay-Per-Click Program
In this episode, Gerald Willis, the founder of Mectronic, shares how his company (1) provides internet solutions for enterprise through Mectronic.net (2) an online B2B part search through Mectronic.com and (3) a pay-per-click program that uses AI technology to relate to Google search.
With a background in tech in Silicon Valley, Jerry started Mectronic Buyers Directory, and eventually transitioned it to an online buyer's guide. They started with advertising, and as companies became more familiar with how the internet could help them, they provided services that supported their ideas.
Today, Mectronic provides RfQ solutions, request for quote forms, and a Buy Now button where someone can see the part, with single-tier pricing on their website. When users click on the Buy button, it takes them directly to the distributor's shopping cart, and Mectronic charges the distributor.
Mectronic's pay-per-click program has emerged from this, using AI technology to relate it to Google search and charge the distributor every time someone clicks on a Buy button. After almost a year of development, the program recently launched its first phase.
Tune in to learn how Gerald Willis and his team are scaling Mectronic through innovative internet solutions, B2B part search, and their latest pay-per-click program.
